Keeping on track
is a one year project supported by a Lifelong Learning key activity Programme action 4 and is organised by partners in 13 European countries, that is LLP National Agencies in Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Spain, Finland, Hungaria, Lithuania, Norway, Slovenia and Slovakia and the Nordic Network for Adult Learning (NVL).
The project has identified “best practices” in coping with demographic declining and ever changing skill requirements by;
o anticipating skill needs
o ensuring the quality of skills available
o providing sufficient continuing training
o validating skills acquired through non-formal and informal learning
101 projects have been analysed by a team of experts. Out of a group of really good projects 6 promising practices have received a KOT-award. The selected projects show excellence in promoting LLL for immigrants, women and older workers in social work, health care and service sector. The evaluators have looked at the overall quality of the project products, transferability and sustainability of the results as well as innovation.
