NVL and the Ministry of Education and Culture is organizing a kick-off event to discuss the possibility and need of a national working group/reference group/action group on basic skills for adults.
Our aim is to discuss this openly, and to present work currently done by the NVL Nordic Network on Basic Skills, as well as reflect on the new Government programme in Finland, the Upskilling Pathways initiative of the EU, and the Taito-programme, all of which deals with basic skills for adults.
Travel costs will be covered by NVL for those arriving from further away. It will also be possible to attend online.
