The 4th VPL Biennale is a conference about validation of prior learning in different contexts and pathways of work and life.

As a participant, you will be able to explore various validation processes and support measures and learn from the results achieved around the world.

The main themes of the conference will be:

  • Validation and working life
  • Validation and education/training
  • Validation and social sustainability
  • Validation and personal development
  • Presentation of current research in the field

The main question to be addressed during the conference is:

How can validation processes become an integral part of policies and services to support lifelong learning?

What is validation about?

VPL gives visibility and value to all forms of learning and seeks to uncover and unlock latent talent in the workforce and in society. The Biennale is for policy makers, researchers, users, practitioners, and other stakeholders involved in the development and implementation of Validation of Prior Learning. It`s about sharing knowledge, ideas and visions of VPL, learning from each other`s experiences and creating viable solutions in the ‘VPL world’.
