The conference topic is co-design of innovation in networks. Ideally, all actors in an emerging value network should be engaged in collaborative innovation: the end-user, the customer, the employee, the "other department", the partner, the provider, the competitor, the citizen. Innovation needs to take a human centric perspective. The CO-CREATE 2013 conference asks: who is the "CO" in co-design? How can collaborative co-design processes be triggered, achieved and managed for innovation? What are the limits of engagement and openness for innovative processes? The conference has four subthemes: 1) Theoretical Foundations of Collaborative Innovation Processes; 2) The Management and Organization of "CO"; 3) Paradoxes in Collaborative and Open Innovation in Networks; 4 ) Spaces, Methods and Tools for Co-Design and Co-Creation.
CO-CREATE 2013 invites into trans-disciplinary dialogue researchers in the fields of organization theory, management science, service research, law, design research, and learning sciences, as well as in computer science and engineering. Papers with findings from original empirical research, both in progress as well as finalized, are welcome. Also high-quality theoretical review papers are accepted.
