Social media and continuing training within the company



Given that it is impossible to deny the influence of social media in today\'s society, what can be said about its future impact on training? We present a few thoughts on this matter based on the concrete example of Swiss Railways – Chemins de Fer Féderaux (CFF) – whose official presence on the social networks is relatively recent (2009), although it has now come to be regarded as a permanent and essential fixture. The January 2013 issue of the Bilanz [1] magazine judged CFF to be the company which had made the best progress in this field.
